With regard to
the camping/rafting trip we have planned for those interested Redeemer folks
(and their friends) for Labor Day weekend, but if you are interested it is best to sign up for the
rafting portion this upcoming week (by June 28th) either online (see site below) or call
Roxanne Gardia directly (number at bottom of e-mail below
). I will stay in close
communication w/ her to keep track of numbers. Mary Sparks was able to get a 15% group
discount.
It is fine if you just want to camp w/ us at Black Oak Stumpy Meadows Campground by
Georgetown or just river raft (stay at nearby motel and meet us Sunday am, Aug. 31st. - one day
rafting trip South Fork American River (Lower "gorge" section)
Our family has reserved 5 participants for river rafting and there are 20 more spots available.
Roxanne cannot promise more, but we may be able to add on more if they have available
spots...so the sooner you sign up for rafting, the better. Our group campsite can hold 25-30
people so let me know if you are interested in camping w/ Redeemer community.
The rafting company has a strict cancellation policy (feel free to call me or Roxanne for details
on this). You can purchase $12 extra/per participant for full refund in specific circumstances.
This should be lots of fun and we hope you can make a commitment soon!
