SAINTS AND ANGELS
Every now and then we pause to thank those people in our
church who have gone that “extra mile”
to make Redeemer a better place:
We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to our Senior
Warden, Sue Clark, for ALL the work she does for
our Redeemer Church. She has served as Sr.
Warden under three priests this time around, having
served as well, several years ago when we were in
yet another transitional period. Please remember to
thank her when you see her – (most days at the
church, in fact!) She’s a true “Saint!”
(
If there’s someone in the community whom you think should
be recognized for their contribution to the life of Redeemer,
please let us know! Contact Cathy Kirk – 457-3841.)
News from the Pews
Meg Nakamura is in the cast of this year’s
Mountain Play, The Wizard of Oz. (She’s a
Munchkin!) Show dates are May 18th and 25th, and
June 1st, 7th, 8th, and 15th.
Wrote Cindy and Bud Smith: “On April 6, our twin
grandchildren, Alexa and Victor Gonzalez, were
baptized by Fr. Mark at the 10:30 service.  It was
truly a joyous occasion.  Fr. Mark did a wonderful
job, ably assisted by LEMs, Cathy Kirk and Sallie
Wood.  All our friends and family who attended
were very impressed.” Here is a photo of the happy
grandparents with the babies:
Many of us have been enjoying reconnecting with
Pat Eyster-Ewell who is spending a couple of weeks
visiting in Glenwood, where she has been staying
with Jack and Betty Baird..
On a sad-for-us note, Sallie and Chuck Wood and
Elliott and Liesje (and Cody) Blank have placed
their homes on the market. The Woods are moving
to new digs in Kenwood, while the Blanks are
heading for Redding. We wish them joy in their
new homes, and hope they will visit often!
